What Is A Shopsmith. Please share your information about these great machines. I agree with what is said about the lack of power,accuracy and planning. Also shopsmith sells a wide range of attachments to extend the features of the base machine (see below).

As of 2014, the current models include a table saw, a drill press, a disc sander, a lathe and a horizontal boring machine. This is the one that started it all for us back in 2006. Fiber carton containing one each: I have the opportunity to buy one at what i think is a very good price, with the band saw option. Shopsmith has issues and could be a better company if the owners wife stepped away. The shopsmith in this picture has quite a few added accessories, and is a complete woodshop with a jointer, dust collector, wide belt sander, band saw.
