I was just wanting to know the pros and cons of having a saw with a cast iron. I am thinking on upgrading to one of the new sawstop 1.75 hp table saws, i am limited to 110 volt in my shop. The main table is precision ground cast iron, and has 2 fabricated side extension tables to give impressive cutting capacities, perfect for the smaller this saw was on offer otherwise i would find it difficult to justify the expense. It's in like new condition as it's been used only for one weekend and then wrapped up before going into storage. All blades and dado sets must not be rated less than the speed of this tool.
