Jet Vs Powermatic. You guys do know that jet bought powermatic a few years back right? Jet is a full line tool maker of woodworking, metalworking, lifting system, workholding, air tools, and shop tools since 1958. The powermatic is also a very well made machine, still 240v & 3hp strongly recommended. I would try and look at a powermatic in a showroom next to a jet before you decide to spend the extra 1k.

Follow us on instagram and join the jet tools movement. I bought a new 66 in 1997 and it was a nightmare to get right. This product is very easy to use and easy to handle.
