Bin Zinsser Shellac Based Pigmented Primer. The paint (latex) binds to it very well. Blocks stains, stops odours, water marks, knots, sap, smoke soot, graffiti, grease and crayon. Pigmented shellac like bins is a great stain blocking primer.

As i understand it the white bin is pigmented alcohol based with some binders etc. Formulated to seal, prime and block out stains on previously painted or new work. I covered the areas in joint compound because they were damaged but it. Pigmented shellac like bins is a great stain blocking primer. Wondering if i need/should sand the clear coat on my patio doors i will be priming with zinsser bin shellac based primer. Any oil or latex paint can be applied over it. Or should i remove the drywall? This product can also be used for minor spot priming outside.
